Dr. Saunders Named Gerontological Society of America Fellow

The Gerontological Society of America (GSA) has named Pamela A. Saunders, PhD, FGSA, as a fellow (new window), an acknowledgment of her outstanding and continuing work in gerontology. Saunders, an associate professor in the departments of neurology and psychiatry, is director of the Master of Science in Aging & Health. Her research focuses on language, aging, doctor/patient communication, narrative and reflective writing, and standardized patient education. GSA is the nation’s largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to the field of aging.
