Posted in Academics
On June 22nd from 10:00am – 12:30pm, Vision 2025 will host a virtual event for university faculty, academic administrators, and providers in the senior living and health services fields. The 2.5 hours will include a keynote, two panels, a closing speaker, and breakout sessions.
Dr. Pamela Saunders, Director of the M.S. Aging & Health Program, will participate in a panel of academic administrators. The focus of the panel will be successes, challenges, and stumbling blocks in creating aging programs.
This event seeks to bring together colleges and universities with progressive senior living and health services providers across the country to reengineer the future of senior living and health services education. Through partnerships, the focus is on creating impactful pathways for smarter, more successful senior living and health services leadership in the future.
The vision is that by 2025, a clear path will have been laid to enhance and expand the number of students in universities pursuing a career in senior living and health services leadership, namely providing 1,000 new paid field experience opportunities with at least 25 college and university academic programs.
