Professor Gail Kohn Named 19th Cafritz Award Winner

Congratulations to Professor Gail Kohn who was recognized as a winner of the 19th Annual Cafritz Award. Professor Kohn co-teaches “Aging in Place” with Dr. Pamela A. Saunders in the summer. She is also an Age Friendly DC Coordinator for the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services. Individual winners are honored for making a difference in DC Government and for outstanding public service.
The Cafritz Award is provided by the Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation to recognize and reward outstanding performance and exemplary service by DC Government employees. Established in 2000, the Awards honor individuals whose contributions have been exceptional and whose commitment and professionalism demonstrate the best in public service.
